Tequila's Nite Club did it again! In its tireless efforts to bring new and exciting Latino live music to Tri-State, Tequila's hosted on Friday the first ever "Rock en Español Mega-Concert" with Midwest's best three bands: Mantra, La Revancha, and Dejavu.

The concert was just AWESOME!

NEVER before Cincinnati had such delightful mixture of Latin music! From songs by Carlos Santana or Tito Puente through Salsa and Cumbia to straight Rock en Español, and even Reggae! But you have to see and listen for yourself...

Education : Rosa Blackwell, CPS Superintendent meets with Latinos (May 11, 2005)

Bank lauded for partnerships within Mexican-American community at recent conference

Fifth Third was recently recognized by Mexico Secretary of State & Minister of the Institute of Mexicans Abroad, Carlos González Gutiérrez, as one of the top five financial institutions in the U.S. serving Mexican and Mexican-American communities.

What a great concert! The sensational "Raul Timbal and The Mambo Jazz" fully deliverd on its promise of a great Salsa music at Tequila's Nite Club.

Education : Mayor Charlie Luken proclaims April 30th the 'El Dia del Niños' in Cincinnati

On April 29th, Cincinnati's Mayor Charlie Luken proclaimed April 30th the "El Dia del Niños" in Cincinnati. The proclamation took place in the Academy of Multilingual Immersion Studies, a very unique school focused on creating "multilingual leaders in an international community". The children prepared a wonderful entertainment program with songs and dances from the Spanish and French speaking regions.

Su Casa's largest annual fund-raiser to provide services for Greater Cincinnati's Hispanic community took place yesterday at the Fifth Third Arena. The event recognized the Hispanic community's business and community leaders who support Su Casa programs.

Dayton, Ohio. - The University of Dayton through its office of Diverse Student Populations, Latin American Student Services Division, invites the community to participate in the nomination of candidates for “The Alma Latina Award.” This award honors individuals or organizations that have excelled in the Dayton and Miami Valley community through their efforts to help Latinos and keep the Hispanic culture alive. Nominations for the award will be accepted during the first week of May. The party with "Son del Caribe" was AWESOME!!! The fundraiser for the Latin American Association (LAA) and the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) packed the Gilly's with hundreds of Salsaholics and people who just wanted to have FUN! We had Salsa lessons with Laurie Chaves, Conga dances and Limbo contest. And most of all - a LOT of FUN!!! The best party ever in Dayton!
