The "Cool Classical! Hot Salsa!" concert featuring the Morales-Matos family and friends was an amazing one. Mixing classical music with own compositions and hot Latin Salsa, it was a deliight for the participants. There was also a Salsa dancing in the end.
The most impressive pieces of music were actually own compositions of the family members: the wonderful romantic "Romance" composed by Sonia Morales Matos, which she wrote for a wedding of her brother, and "Off the Earth" written and performed by Rolando Morales Matos, for which he received a standing ovation!
Our thanks go to Linton Chamber Music (www.lintonmusic.org) for organizing this concert, and Tracy Wilson, the program director of the Mayor's 801 Plum Concerts Series.
Purpose Create and maintain an inclusive network of area professionals where ethnic diversity is encouraged and celebrated to the benefit of its members and the community
Goal Attract and retain diverse professionals to the Greater Cincinnati area
It is Summer time, crazy hot and getting hotter. Thus, with every season change we plan our next Happy Hour. The location for this one will be the "Havana Martini Club" in downtown Cincinnati and we want area professionals (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Information Systems, etc.) to come out and join us. So no matter where you work (Kroger, 5/3, P&G, UC, GE, Health Alliance, etc.) we want to see your face in the place.
Last time we celebrated a change of Season and "March Madness"
Without a doubt the "Hopscotch Lounge" was a rousing success But we roll from spot to spot, yeh this is how we do it And on June 22nd we head to "Havana" as we get back to it
So bring your interns and new hires that have come to town. Show them another view of the 'Nati and how we throw down. Hang out with co-workers, acquaintances and maybe meet a new friend And don't be shy, forward this email to others via the button marked "send“. Enjoy adult conversation and network professionally from 5 to 9 Take the edge off, let your hair down and have a good time In our reserved private room, appetizers we will multiculturally share. We will honor the opening of the Brazilian Steakhouse right off the square
And at 9:00 it's a Brazilian party (click here for more info) With a martial arts performance, dancing and a deal on Mojitos So take the night off and spend time with us You won't be sorry, this you can trust
