On Friday, June 22nd, we'll have another GLOBAL FUSION PARTY, with focus on BRAZIL

We'll be giving away Gift Certificates from our friends at "Boi Na Braza" - Cincinnati's #1 Churrascaria, and the neighbor of Havana Martini Club!!!!

Also, the "Making the Difference Foundation". a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1991, which works on social projects to better the lives of disadvantaged families and children, will have a raffle fundraiser for their organization - $10 a ticket - with only 500 tickets (1 in 500 chance of winning). Winning ticket receives 4 night 5 day trip to Sao Paulo, Brasil for two people! (Airfare & Hotel). Drawing will be July 30th. 

Last year the live Capoeira demonstration and Belly dancing mesmerized the audience!

What:  Presentation by FBI Agents on Civil Rights, Legal Constraints and Violent Crimes.

Community : Free Legal Fair (May 30th)

There will be a free roundtable discussion on the latest immigration issues, hosted by the Hammond Law Firm, on Wednesday, May 30th at the Sheraton Cincinnati North Hotel from 6:00-7:00pm.  This event will focus primarily on employment issues.  Please spread the word.

It was another great Salsa night @ Mad Frog, with people enjoying the awesome dance floor !

Each Monday, Mad Frog has its basement open - with the best in Reggaeton and Hip-hop. It's like having two clubs in one: live Salsa/Merenge upstairs with Tropicoso, and Reggaeton and Hip-hop downstairs!

  This Savory Ensemble of family and friends blends the coolness of classical and the hot rhythmic sounds of Latin music featuring marimba, strings, trombone, piano and percussion for one explosive evening topped with salsa dancing.

The Friday, June 1st, evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with a “happy-hour” catered by McCormick & Schmick's and music by the "Nicholas Radina Latin Trio". The concert begins at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets are $20.00.

The Mayor’s 801 Plum Concerts provide a unique opportunity to hear music in the urban mainstay of downtown Cincinnati: City Hall’s Council chambers. A fresh alternative to the standard local fare, young audiences ages 21-40 can indulge in an eclectic infusion of classical, jazz, percussion, Latin and hip-hop music performed by dynamic, diverse, and world-renowned musicians.

Local celebrities serve as emcee for each concert, setting the tone for a relaxed and interactive “Chill & Chat” session between the musicians and the audience in this intimate and unusual 300-seat performance venue.
