Several Cincinnati organizations that signed a request to WLW 700 Radio Station for an immidiate removal of the "Big Juan" ads (to see the press release click here), finding it insensitive and offending to the Latino/Hispanic community, held on Tue. May 8, a press conference. Initiated by LULAC Cincinnati  and United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW), the petition has been signed so far by:

The press conference was covered by several TV Stations and newspapers, among them Cincinnati Enquirer and WCPO

It was tremendous to see all the organization and people of different religions, ethnic backgrounds, and races, to rally in support of the Latino community.  As stated in the petition: "By making this collective statement, we are declaring that we are committed to working together until Cincinnati reflects the type of multicultural and diverse City that we all can be proud to live, work and play".
