Business : Gema Bahns promoted to Officer at Fifth Third Bank

 Congratulations to Gema Bahns, who has been promoted to Officer at Fifth Third Bank. A native of Madrid, Spain, Gema leads the Hispanic Initiatives Program. She is responsible for setting priorities for market competition and leading financial services for the Hispanic market. She works to establish an organizational structure that promotes economic development for Latino clients & minority-owned businesses while increasing Fifth Third Bank’s professional business network in the Hispanic community to enhance the bank’s profit objectives. She also conducts organizational development workshops aimed at increasing understanding of the Hispanic culture in corporate banking.

In addition to serving in the Executive Board of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs since 2004, she also serves on the Board of Directors for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Cincinnati USA, a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the continued growth and development of the Hispanic/Latino business community in the area.
