Legend Vega @ Cincinnati Salsa Congress

Sammy DeLeon w/ El Gran Combo

THIS Saturday, June 23rd!!!! Hot SALSA with Legend Vega

Legend Vega: Fans say that Legend combines the Latin sexiness of Shakira, the powerful voice of Mariah Carey, and the spicy musical style of Ricky Martin, in a fresh and totally unique way.

Legend Vega was born under the lights of Broadway in New York City but raised to the beat of Salsa and Merengue in the Caribbean on the hot sands of Puerto Rico. She has recently finished recording her second CD with all of her own material titled Jump Into My Heart which features a fiery urban mix of Pop, Rock, and R&B served up with a contemporary Latin twist. Cost: only $6

Saturday, July 21st!!!! Sammy DeLeon y Su Orchestra

Sammy DeLeon was named the "hottest and most innovative young timbalero in America", by the Latin Jazz greatest TITO PUENTE. He was selected as an special invitee and performer to the 2005 Los Angeles Salsa Congress. His solos are full of energy and passion. This outstanding band has been awarded several times as the best Salsa and Latin Jazz band by Scene Magazine and Toledo's Bravo magazine. It consists of a vibrant rhythm section with Lorain's best Elmer Arrocho on bass and Cleveland's well-known Jackie Warren. Its horn section is led by Ohio's premier trumpet player Joe Miller,  Steve Zambori on baritone and Keegan Woods on trombone. Gilberto Morales, the main vocalist is considered one of the top in N.Y. city. The percussion section is considered to be the best in the tri-state area with Nelson Orta on bongos, Manny Santana on congas and of course Sammy on timbales. Evidence of the band's steadily rising popularity is a record number of concert and club bookings and an increasing amount of loyal followers.

Rhinos Live, located at 11473 Chester Rd. in Cincinnati/Sharonville, Ohio 45246, is Cincinnati's BIGGEST and BEST live entertainment venue. While most venues are single story, Rhinos Live is an open two story design, ensuring there is no bad seat in the house. Lets not forget why Rhinos Live came to be... the music... How does a sound system that rivals some of the nations largest venues sound, packed into an acoustically sound building? It's sounds amazing, like nothing you've heard before!

And did we mention a HUGE dance floor?
