MidwestLatino and DJ Rudy Alvarez are supporting the Bras with Flair on the Square 2008, the second annual event where decorated bras will fly high on Fountain Square to promote breast health. Read on to find out how you can get involved with this unique and innovative way of finding a cure!

What better way to raise awareness about breast health than through the garments that support them? Cincy Chic (www.cincychic.com), the only online publication for women in Greater Cincinnati, is proud to host the second annual "Bras with Flair on the Square," a unique and fun way of raising awareness about breast cancer. (Click here to check out photos from last year!)

Cincinnatians are encouraged to decorate bras and drop them off at any Greater Cincinnati Panera Bread location, or the Havana Martini Club downtown on Fifth St. between Race and Vine Sts. Havana Martini Club is offering $4 "Ta-Ta-Tinis" to those dropping off a donation. Panera will provide free pink ribbon bagels to any group that reserves a meeting room to decorate bras*. Donations will be accepted from Oct. 1-Oct. 22.

Oct. 23-24, from 11a.m.-1p.m. and 4p.m.-6p.m., the decorated bras will not only be on display for all to see on Fountain Square, but they will also be up for grabs with a silent auction to benefit the Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure Fund. In addition, there will be live music, entertainment and free Panera Pink Ribbon Bagels as well as health information distributed by the Center for Optimal Vitality. And don't miss the beauty experts from the Woodhouse Day Spa, because they'll be providing free 5-minute back massages and manicures. Participants' nails will be painted with the signature breast cancer awareness pink hue!

Seventy-five percent of the donations accepted will be earmarked for local breast cancer awareness programs that directly benefit women in Greater Cincinnati women. Cincy Chic has a lofty goal of raising $10,000 this year, and with your generosity, that will be possible!

We'll have Salsa on the Square on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 4 -6 PM. Please stop by!!!
