Yesterday, April 8th, the NKU Latino Students Affairs Office , under direction of its Director, Leo Calderon, recognized its outstanding Latino students.

The keynote speaker was Giovanna Alvarez, Director of Su Casa.

The 2010 NKU LSA/Kroger Mentor/Mentee of the Year went to David Perez and Hector Diaz.

The 2010 Latina Person of the Year went to Maylen Arroyo Alvarez.

There ware also 2010 Latino Student Academic Achievement Awards: Maria Clay, Kennth Zavala, Laura Schreiner, Carmen Moreno, Ariana Michal Lopez, Catherine Strunk, Jennifer May Herandez, Annette Graf, and Thomas Schneller.

Congratulations to all winners, and to NKU for having such a good program.
