Cincy-Cinco Festival took place this year on May 6-7 at the Riverbend Plaza.

The tri-state region’s premier Latino cultural fest, is a family-friendly weekend event that showcases Latino culture, values and traditions while promoting the interaction of the Latino community within the tri-state community at large.

And as usual, MidwestLatino is the first to present pictures from it. More pictures are in the Cincinnati section of our Photo Gallery

There’s something for everyone to enjoy at Cincy-Cinco! From authentic Latino cuisine from 5 countries to the Kids Pavilion with Spanish lessons, games and arts and crafts, including “decorate your own piñata”. Other activities include the Art Pavilion featuring the largest Latino artist collection in the tri-state area, the Music Pavilion with the best in regional and local Latino music, and the Dance Pavilion with free dancing lessons (salsa, tango and cha cha cha), amateur and professional dance competitions and shows. Experience a traditional Mariachi mass on Sunday at 11 a.m.

Pick up free coupons and samples (estimated value: $50) from visiting vendors and explore tri-state opportunities including health, education and more.

Tickets, $10 each, are available at Riverbend Music Center on the day of the event or at Kroger beforehand. Save $2 when you pre-purchase your ticket at Kroger. An additional $2 discount is given with the purchase of two of the following brands at Kroger: Tide, Bounty, Folgers, Crest or Pampers. Children under age 16 are free. All proceeds benefit over 15 tri-state charities that support the Latino community.
