| Posted by Anonymous on 2006/8/3 21:00:00 (2083 reads) |

After 26 successful years at P&G, Ingrid Rivera, Director of P&G External Relations and Corporate Marketing, retires from the company.
One of the most successful Latinas within P&G, she had a wonderful career with P&G, and made countless contributions to the company and to the Latino community.
On Thursday, August 3rd, she had her retirement party at P&G, with her friends and colleagues wishing her all the best in her new endeavors. As somebody pointed correctly, knowing Ingrid, it won't be really a "retiring" for her, but more like a "re-wiring" for new adventures. And we know that whatever she'll do, she'll be very successful at it!
More pictures from her retirement party are in the are Cincinnati section of our Photo Gallery (click here)

MidwestLatino is sponsoring a "Fundraiser for Inirida", organized by Maria Herring and friends. It will be a dinner dance fundraiser as well as a raffle (with attractive prizes, incl. 2 tickets for Shakira concert in Chicago!).
The dance will be held on August 18, 2006 from 8:00pm to Midnight. It will offer a buffet dinner, free beer, wine and soda, and two DJ’s. The reception hall has room for for only up to 180 people, so hurry up and secure your tickets!
You might ask, who is Inirida…?
Inirida Rabinovich is originally from Colombia. She has been in the United States since October of 1999. She is loved and admired by all those who have come across her. Unfortunately she has been diagnosed with Cervical Cancer with metastases in her Lymphatic System. This fundraiser is to help her cover expenses which her medical insurance has not covered and to help her ease her financial burden since her income has dramatically been reduced.
