Business : Daniel Conde - recognized in "40 under 40"
Posted by admin on 2008/9/8 12:40:00 (1861 reads)

The Forty Under 40 program was started in 1995 to identify and recognize the Tri-State's up-and-coming business, community and economic leaders. Since then, over 400 local individuals have become a Forty Under 40 alumnus and have been recognized for their business accomplishments and their contributions to the community.

Each year, the program kicks off with a nomination process in the spring. Nominations are collected by the Business Courier and handed over to an independent panel of judges. After the judges meet and make their selections, a new Forty Under 40 class is announced by the Business Courier in late summer. The new class is honored at an evening dinner and recognition ceremony in the fall, which this year will be on Thursday, Sept. 25th.

We would like to congratulate Dr. Daniel Conde , who is one of the selected winners. Daniel is very active in NSHMBA and in the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and he definitely deserves this award.

NSHMBA Cincinnati

Are you a professional looking for a new career, or a student looking for a great position following graduation or a summer internship?

An upcoming NSHMBA event, “Connecting Firms with Hispanic Talent”, sponsored by Duke Energy, and hosted by Xavier University,  will give you an opportunity on Saturday, April 5th, from 11 AM - 4 PM to meet with representatives from local companies across the Greater Cincinnati area.  The agenda includes lunch with company representatives, a brief company profile by each attending company, and finally, while company representatives stay at their respective tables, candidates rotate on scheduled timing between all the tables.  You’ll have an opportunity to meet all the company representatives.  This format provides a much more personal approach than a standard career fair.  Plan to arrive on time and stay until the end when we’ll raffle off some great prizes.

Last year we had companies such as Procter & Gamble, Fifth Third, Deloitte, Cintas, Kroger, and American Family Insurance, participating in the event.

Dress code is Business!  Please bring 20 copies of your resume. Free Lunch will be provided.

To help you prepare for this important event, NSHMBA will host two free workshop sessions, sponsored by Fifth Third Bank, where experienced recruiters will provide coaching on resume writing/interviewing skills.  The workshops will be held at the Fifth Third Center on:

* Thursday, March 20 (Resume Clinic)
* Thursday, March 27th (Mock Interview)

All these events are targeted toward NSHMBA Members, Experienced Candidates, Undergraduates and Graduate Students in Business or Engineering.

The events are FREE to attend, but since space is limited, you have to register at:
