A child must be able toexpress how he or shefeels with freedomand safety.
Allowing a child to paint, sculpt, play-dance, and imagine with freedom, and without boundaries, opens their mind and frees their spirit!
Classes begin May 31st!* for 3 to 5 years *
In either English or Spanish, children discover the joys of music, art, movement, and theater, all of whichprovide a healthy outletfor many of the strong emotions thatchildren experience!
This year's Arte Latino, as part of of ArtsWave's Sampler Weekend, moved to AMIS (Academy of Multilingal Immersion Studies), located at 1908 Seymour Ave. in Cincinnati.
Every year, the ArtsWave Sampler Weekends, sponsored by Macy’s, celebrate the creative things — music, dance, theater, museums, and festivals — happening in large and small ways throughout our region. These weekends are great opportunities for families, friends, and neighbors to connect with one another and experience the arts through free events. The six weekends will offer some 180 events at over 75 venues all over the region.
As in previous years, many local Latino artists will perform and present their art (dance, music, visual arts). See a video from Arte Latino 2011 below:
